Fra Freyakröniken, vers 57 : “Vår kropp och våra sinnen är porten till vår andliga upplevelse. Kroppen är det enda verktyg vi har att uppleva något med överhuvudtaget. Den som förnekar köttets förnimmelser förnekar även den andliga upplevelsen. Köttet och anden blev inte ett, som de kristna påstår, det var och kommer alltid att vara ett.”

SANSESPILL var en partisipatorisk forestilling og installasjon, hvor mennesker gjennom sine sanser fikk møte sensommerens forråtnelse av naturen på en ærbødig måte. Visse sanser ble eliminert for å fremheve de andre, og på så måte oppsto en abstrahert opplevelse av den overmodne sensommeren.

Fra Freyakröniken, vers 59 : ”Låt mig säga er detta, att fruktbarhet och förruttnelse är en och samma sak. Precis som att humusen, det översta jordlagret, är det just förruttnade samtidigt som det är den mest näringsrika jorden. Ingenting förgås men allting förändras. Utan att acceptera denna döden kan vi aldrig uppleva livet fullt ut. Det spirande livet och det slocknande livet är en och samma sak. Detta är vårt radikala budskap.”

From Freyakröniken, verse 57 : “Our body and our sensations are the gateway to spiritual experience. In truth the body is the only tool we have for experiencing whatsoever. Those who deny the sensations of the flesh also deny the spiritual experience. The flesh and the spirit did not become one, as the Christians claim, it was and will always be one.”

SANSESPILL was a participatory performance and installation, where people met the late summer's decaying nature through their senses in a reverent way. Certain senses were eliminated to accentuate others, creating an abstracted experience of the overripe late summer.

From Freyakröniken, Verse 59 : “Let me tell you this, that fertility and decay are one and the same. Just like the humus, the topsoil layer, is the recently rotten nature and at the same time the most nutritious soil. Nothing perishes, but everything changes. Without accepting this death, we can never fully experience life. The sprouting life and the extinguishing life are one and the same thing. This is our radical message.”
